Мерт Фырат

A Turkish actor and screenwriter, was born in Ankara 10 January 1981. He graduated from the theatre department of Ankara University and master of Film and Drama in Kadir Has University. Then he returned Ankara and attended acting training in Ankara University. He founded "Moda Theatre" and "Das Das" in Istanbul, "Sanat Mahal" in Bursa. He won awards as actor and screenwriter. He appeared in more than fifteen films since 2005.In October 2017 the United Nations Development Programme Turkey chose Mert Firat as Goodwill Ambassador in Turkey.. He is of Turk, Circassian, Arab descents.His father is singer Nihat Fırat. He gave up to study radio television department in Swedish.
