Brazilian singer-songwriter and actress. Born and raised in Campinas, she rose to fame in the early 1990s alongside her brother Junior Lima, as a member of pop duo Sandy & Junior. They toured the United States, Japan, Chile and Angola and performed as a duo from 1990 until 2007. Following the disbandment of the duo in December 2007, she embarked on a solo career, and has released two studio albums: Manuscrito and Sim, both well received by music critics.
